0800hrs Meet and greet at the hotel lobby, and depart for Penampang. The journey to this Kadazan Dusun hub is a mere 30 minutes drive from Kota Kinabalu. Along the way, you will be able to enjoy a scenery of sprawling paddy fields surrounded by a unique blend of the old and new shoplots and bungalow, as well as kampong-style homes. 

0830hrs Upon arrival at Tamu Donggongon, enjoy the vibrant and colourful sight of this traditional market where local vendors will come in full force to sell their local produce ranging from vegetables to handicrafts. Also, get a chance to try out the local exotic delicacies, and traditional beverages such as Butod (Sago Worm), Lihing (Local Rice Wine) and Montoku (Distilled Rice Wine) while being entertained with the orchestic sound of  traditional music instruments being performed by the locals. 

1130hrs Head over for lunch at Borneo Momogun Spice which take about a 9 minutes drive from Donggongon Town. This two storey restaurant gives guests the nostalgic feeling of Sabahan’s Culture by featuring a range of traditional food from the major tribe in Penampang; The Kadazan Dusun .

1400hrs Half day tour ends, return to hotel.
