Tour Description
Duration:             3Days / 2 Nights
Location:             Kundasang, Ranau District (North West Coast of Sabah)

Day 1 (Dinner)
Pick up from Airport upon arrival / Hotel in Kota Kinabalu and depart for Kinabalu Park, take a 2 hours drive to Park HQ. Along the way a short stop at Pekan Nebalu for local fruits & local product. Check in free at leisure in the afternoon or explore some of the trail around in the Park HQ on your own - (Dinner at Balsam from 1800hrs to 1930hrs)
Overnight: Lodges @ Kinabalu Park 

Day 2 (Breakfast, Pack Lunch, Dinner)
After Breakfast at Balsam (from 0630hrs to 0730hrs) - Get your pack lunch at Balsam as well. Then register at the Park HQ / Sabah Park Office, meet your Mt. guide then board any of the Koktas bus for Timpohon Gates (1866m)  the starting point for your trek up to Laban Rata (3272m) it will take around 4 to 6 hours for the 6km (Timpohon Route) trek up, depending on your fitness. Check in upon arrival & free at leisure in the afternoon. - (Dinner at Laban Rata Resthouse from 1700hrs to 1930hrs)
Overnight Laban Rata area

Day 3 (Breakfast, Lunch)
Wake
up very early in the morning at 0200am for your Supper (Laban Rata Resthouse from 0200hrs - 0330hrs) then get ready and start your final ascend to the Summit of Mt. Kinabalu (4095m) for another 2.95km trek. The trek will take around 2 -3 hours in time for the spectacular sunrise over the Mountain (The whole of South East Asia at your below feet.!!). Start your descend to back to Laban Rata, take your breakfast (Laban Rata Resthouse from 0730hrs - 1030hrs) before your long final descend back to Timpohon Gate and take any Koktas bus back to Park HQ. Afternoon Tea Break (Balsam Restaurant from 1230hrs - 1630hrs). Then transfer you back to Kota Kinabalu after getting your certificates at Park HQ.

Things you should know
Remark: It is recommended that all trekkers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any Jungle Trekking. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommend that you should refrain from trekking: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart disease, severe anemia, Peptic ulcer, Epileptic fits, Obesity (overweight), Chronic asthma, Muscular cramps, Hepatitis (jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the trekking.

The best preparation for mountaion sports always involve good amount of Cardiovascular Exercise Outdoor (running, cycling, mountain biking etc etc) and getting out for long days in the hills whenever possible. it is advicable to do your Cardiovascular Exercise at least twice a week with each session being minimum of 2 hours and it should be commercing at least 2 - 3 months before the mountain climb trip.
