0740/0830hrs Meet upon arrival in Sandakan airport from BKI/SDK flight on MH or AK / Pick up from Hotel Lobby in Sandakan. Transfer to Sandakan Central Market to browse around and observe the local market scene. Depart to jetty for 0930hrs about 1 hour boat ride to Turtle Island. Arrived, register and check in into chalet. After lunch cafeteria, free own leisure or opt for swimming and snorkeling. Evening After dinner, wait for the ranger’s call to observe turtle laying eggs at the shore and transfer the eggs to the hatchery. If there are any young turtle hatchlings, an opportunity to witness its release to the sea.

0700hrs Return back to mainland to Sandakan jetty for pick to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center. Arrived, register and watch a 20 minutes video documentary show which will give you an insight of the rehabilitation process and its threat to survival. Walk through the tropical lowland Dipterocarps rainforest of Borneo to platform A. At 100hrs witness the feeding of the Orang Utan at this platform by the rangers. Here, you can experience a close encounter with this Wildman of Borneo.
1100hrs Continue for 2 hours overland to Kinabatangan River. Check in, lunch and rest at own leisure. 1600 to 1800hrs late afternoon River cruise along the famous Kinabatangan River in search of primates especially the Endemic Proboscis Monkeys, Wild Orang Utan, birds and other wildlife. Return to lodge for shower and dinner.
Overnight at Lodges along Kinabatangan Day 3 Kinabatangan River, Gomantung Cave, Sandakan (Breakfast/Lunch)
0800hrs After breakfast, depart back to Sandakan, En-route stop by for a visit at Gomantong Cave. Explore this one of Sabah fascinating cave, a home to millions of Bats and Swiflets. When in season, witness the collecting of birds nests by the local people using bamboo ladders and poles. The nests are collected to make the famous Chinese edible bird nest soup. 1030hrs depart to Sandakan town for lunch then City tour with visits to the Rotary Observation Pavillion for a bird eye view of Sandakan town. Proceed on to Kampung Buli Sim Sim, a Malay Fishing Water Village where houses are built on stilts. Continue for Puu Jih Syh Chinese Buddhist Temple offering panaromic view of Sandakan Bay ends your City Tour.
1300hrs Transfer to Sandakan airport for your flight back / hotel in Sandakan. End
