Tour Description
Duration:          2 Days 1 Nights
Location:          Tambunan District (South of Sabah)
Minimum of:    2 adults per tour departure
Rates from:     RM 1,521 per person (Inclusive 6% GST)

Day 1  (D)
Depart from Kota Kinabalu by 1000hrs. It takes about 1 hour 30 minutes drives from Kota Kinabalu to Tambunan Town. Have your early lunch at Tambunan Town (at your own cost). By 1200hrs meet your Mt. Guide at Tambunan Town and transfer by 4x4 to Starting Point (25km - 2 hours estimated). Drop by at the Forestry Gate for Registration and Climbing Permit check. 1400hrs start your trekking up to the Resthouse (2km-3 hours estimated). Along the way you will see the changes vegetation from the Lower to the Upper Montane Forest.
Overnight: Resthouse

Day 2   (B,L)
Wake up at 0130hrs and have breakfast. At 0200 start your final 2.9km trek up to summit of Trus Madi, it takes approximately 3 hours 30 minutes to reach the summit in time for the sunrise, Along the way you will see mostly the Upper Montane Forest & Mossy Forest. Be enchanted with the wild orchids and pitcher / Nepenthes plants found in abundance especially the Nepenthes x Trusmadiensis (endemic to Mt Trus Madi) other species of Nepenthes includes Lowii, Microphylla, Tentaculata & 10 species of Rodedendrons. Descend back to your Resthouse and have your lunch.After lunch continue your final descend back to Starting Point (Taman Kitingan). Continue your journey back to Tambunan Town by 4WD,meet at Tambunan Town for your final transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.

Things you should know
IMPORTANT NOTICE : 
--Guest MUST submit a fitness certificate confirmed by physician or doctor. 
--Mt. Trusmadi / under Forestry Department is adopting A ZERO WASTE MANAGEMENT POLICY, in which, for every non-organic waste produced must be carried out of Trusmadi
--Guest is to be accompanied by local Mt. Guide (with minimum English communicating skills) at all times and not allowed to wander on their own. Please note that for any activities especially trekking within the Crocker Range, the management will only provide local guide as to caretakers to the visitor during your stay at Crocker Range.

It is recommended that all trekkers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any Jungle Trekking. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommend that you should refrain from trekking: HypertensionDiabetesPalpitation,ArthritisHeart diseaseSevere AnemiaPeptic ulcersEpileptic fitsObesity (overweight), Chronic asthmaMuscular crampsHepatitis (jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the trekking.

The best preparation for mountain on sports always involve good amount of Cardiovascular Exercise Outdoor (running, cycling, mountain biking,etc) and getting out for long days in the hills whenever possible. it is advicable to do your Cardiovascular Exercise at least twice a week with each session being minimum of 2 hours and it should be commercing at least 2 - 3 months before the mountain climb trip.
